The Translation Laboratory
coming soon
These 90 minute online sessions are designed to pull back the curtain on the philological process. Rather than presenting a finished product, translation laboratory sessions offer a space to discuss translations of biblical and parabiblical texts in progress—whether for an article, book, dissertation, or commentary. The idea is to focus on decision-making structures behind the text, the friction between source and target languages, the weight of manuscript variants, and the intellectual history embedded in our lexical choices.
